One of the highlights of my trip is to attend the premiere at Southampton’s Harbour Lights theatre of Hugh Cornwell’s first movie project – BLUEPRINT. To celebrate the occasion of Hugh’s new film we post this episode of KayvonTV when I had the chance and honour to sit down with Hugh a few months back while he was touring in Toronto for a wide ranging interview. We touched on many subjects from Mr. Cornwell’s early fame with The Stranglers to his present day solo career. Enjoy!
Kayvon gets Knocked Up
Friday, June 8th, 2007I thought today would be a most great day for a movie. So off to the Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Scotiabank Theatre used to be called the Paramount Theatre till the financial institution Scotiabank decided to pony up a great sum of money to rename and serve as the main sponsor to the theatre. I was not sure what film to see at this most fine cinema so I decided to take a brief survey of the cinephiles in attendance to see what the most recent hot film was. After some careful analysis and scrutinous debate – we decided to see Mr. Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up. It turned out to be a brilliant film.
