They are members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The organization, one of the "Original Six" members of the NHL, is officially known as the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club and is owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE). They play at the Air Canada Centre (ACC). The Leafs are well known for their long and bitter rivalry with the Montreal Canadiens, and more recent rivalry with the Ottawa Senators. The franchise has won thirteen Stanley Cups, eleven as the Leafs, one as the Toronto St. Patricks, and one as the Toronto Arenas. Valued at $413 million (2007), the Leafs are the most valuable team in the NHL, followed by the New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings.[1] Withrow Park is a 21 acre park in the Riverdale neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[1] Laid out and constructed in the 1910s, at the same time that the surrounding community was built, Withrow Park is among Toronto's large multi-purpose parks. The park is bounded by Carlaw Avenue on the east, Bain Avenue on the south, Logan Avenue on the west and McConnell Avenue on the north. Withrow Park is named after John Jacob Withrow (1833-1900), a local landowner and builder, who also served as a city alderman and was one of the founders of what would become the Canadian National Exhibition.[2] The park gained nation-wide notoriety in 2004 when hot dogs laced with carbofuran were left in the park, killing one dog and poisoning 15 others.[3] While the poisonings were under criminal investigation, the City closed most of Withrow Park by surrounding it with a chain-link fence,[4] causing controversy in the neighbourhood. No charges were ever laid.[5] In February 2008, the Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team held a practice in Withrow Park, to mark the recent refurbishment of the park's ice rink and related facilities.[6] maple leafs practice outside outdoors toronto mats sundin kayvon kaberle fletcher stajan antropov carlo nhl wellwood to blooper improv parody pranks video blog sketch series short film spoof media communications tv entertainment news web series documentary interview sports commentary analysis community action winter sports combat sports sports talk hockey nhl hockeyThe Toronto Maple Leafs Practice outside/outdoors @ Withrow Park, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kayvon, your admins didn’t tell you anything, because the computer I typed that message on is based in Vancouver. Clearly you’re not the most adept poker player as your bluff was way off. Enclosed in the post is a ten doller bill. Shave the poo-stache, my friend.

    Dear “Mats”,

It is an extreme honor that you took the time out of your hectic day to come and comment on my site. It is interesting because I just turned on the TV and saw you skating live before my very eyes.

It is quite amazing that you managed to comment on my video, while doing your warm-up skate. I guess you must have those new gloves that also work as a LAPTOP or I guess you might be able to send these comments via mental ability.

Mats I am certin it was you, There is no way some loser would come to my site and pretend to be you to somehow get under my skin. I am pretty sure people have better things to do then that. If that person did exist they would have to be complete and total losers/morons/idiots.

It is funny though that my admin’s tell me that the comment came in from Ottawa, even though you are in Colombus right now,
Must be more of your special powers Mats!!

  3. Mats says:

    Mr Kayvon,

Please do not bother me again. You are a complete nusiance, and you were lucky I gave you a single answer and I didn’t see that it was you who asked the question. Leave me alone. You are a third-rate journalist and an amateur at best. Any further aggravation from you or your associates WILL result in legal action. You have been warned.

    Happy St. Patricks Day,

    Mats
