After enjoying some delicious foods outside CN Tower off Bremner Blvd. – I headed over to the Front St. entrance of Toronto’s Tower (where the usual collection of autograph hounds were lurking) to greet Beijing Summer Olympics Gold Medalist and world record holder Usain Bolt who was just arriving in Toronto for his big race.
While it’s been more then a dozen years since sprinter Michael Johnson was in Toronto – who can forget his disastrous 1997 race against Mr. Donovan Bailey – Mr. Johnson is also in Toronto this week as part of the festivities surrounding the Bolt 100 metre race.
