Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motor sport with simple, small four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports.
Karts vary in speed and some (known as Superkarts) can reach speeds exceeding 160 mph (250 km/h).[1] A Formula A kart, with a 100 cc 2 stroke engine and an overall weight including the driver of 150 kilograms, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 85 mph (140 km/h).[2] It takes a little more than 3 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph with a 125 cc shifter kart (6 gears), with a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h) on long circuits.[3]

My attempts to get into Import Fest 2008 to watch me a Hip-Hop concert featuring my good friend, Imaan Faith, failed miserably. KayvonTV’s ability to crash gates continues to be an area that I feel we need to work better to improve on, too bad my good friend, Rocket, wasn’t working security folks!! Then we would have gotten in for sure.
Since we were not going to get into import fest, my producer John suggested that I try my hand at the GrandPrix Kartways Go-Kart course located at Downsview Park. Being such a control freak, I have never driven a car before and I was mighty scared to try.
All in all a real fun day, we even stopped at the legendary California Sandwiches on Chestwood Drive afterwards for a quick bit. It was my first time trying California’s and despite all the hype, I felt that veal back home was way more preferable.
Good thing I am on my way to England tomorrow folks!! too bad my production team can’t afford to come along (i.e. sponsorship), it promises to be a really swell and don’t worry we have even managed to figure out a way to record it all thanks to the good folks at Quickpod!
God speed everybody!! Let’s hope England is ready for the return of KayvonTV!!

Ha Ha You were driving pretty slow there Kvon, I am pretty sure I watched the same car pass you at least 5 times, LOL. U did a good job though for a first timer, I hope you have a good time in England…and btw, you are already a STAR!!
